Please divest from all fossil fuel companies, including companies involved in hydraulic fracturing for natural gas.

It is time for OU, as a public institution that cares about our education and our futures, to be a leader in action on climate change.

As the largest developer in Athens County, OU has a responsibility to divest from the industries that have historically exploited Appalachian communities.

The undersigned students, faculty, and staff of Ohio University, along with our supporters across the state (and even across the nation) demand that you divest from all fossil fuels industries and reinvest in 100% renewable industries such as solar, wind, and geothermal by December 1st, 2018.
