The seniors of the class of 2020 have endured many changes and newfound challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the biggest worries among each senior is what graduation will look like and if they will be able to walk with their class.

The South Washington County school district recently sent out a google form for seniors to vote on available graduation options. The class of 2020 seniors had a majority vote for the “Drive Thru Graduation“ option. Seeing this, the decision was made to instead shift to entirely virtual graduation against the wishes of the graduating class of 2020. I wish to change this and get enough signatures to allow for the graduation we voted for as a class. If we as seniors can come together and sign this petition we can change our situation and do something positive.
