Distance learning is the best viable option right now,  however it has been stressful for students, parents and teachers alike. Now that we know we will not return to school this school year, school should be reduced to four days per week. Teachers are already working double the amount of hours they are supposed to to prepare video materials, resources for lessons and providing feedback to students. This will provide an extra day for students to complete assignments, study and for teachers to grade work and plan lessons. Life is different right now and reducing the amount of school each week will provide some necessary mental decompression for teachers, students and parents. We’re all in this together.
