Dissolve Association Between Satterfield Rd Residents and Bird Quarry HOA

The Issue

Satterfield Rd residents in the Greer, SC community have found themselves living under regulations imposed by the Bird Quarry Homeowners Association (HOA), Hinson Management. While HOAs are traditionally established for the mutual benefit of their members, it appears that the relationship between Satterfield Rd residents and Bird Quarry HOA has strayed from this intent, leading to this petition for a formal dissociation. Currently, residents on Satterfield Rd are said to be contributing to HOA Fees to cover the expense of street lights, landscaping and maintenance of retention ponds. There is no landscaping, street lights or maintained retention ponds on Satterfield Rd. In addition, the fees have recently been increased, for some the amount has been doubled. It is subsequently critical to consider the broader implications of such association and how it impacts the residents adversely. This petition seeks to enhance the autonomy, liberty and democratic rights of the housings on Satterfield Rd, affirming their concerns about the HOA and maintaining a significant and legitimate existence outside of it. This district, along with its residents, receiving no benefit from the HOA,  should have the ability to manage their community affairs independently. Let your voice be heard by joining this cause; support the dissociation of Satterfield Rd residents from Bird Quarry HOA. Please sign this petition.
