So, firstly let's talk about India, where if you speak a single cuss word, you will be treated as if you have committed a crime. People in India think that the word "sex" is inappropriate. No offense to the culture, but yes, the thought process of the Indian population is a little rigid.

The word "anime" is just considered as cartoon in India. They just think that it's a waste of time, it's just a cartoon. But, it's not. It can actually provide us knowledge and it is not even close to being a cartoon. Indian cartoons like Chota Bheem, Mighty Raju, Motu Patlu is rubbish, it does not make any sense. They compare anime with these cartoons. Anime is not cartoon, it provides knowledge like, tips on how to live a life, team work, courage, determination, passion, how to consume time and much more. But these cartoons don't make sense.

The recent ban on free anime streaming websites has affected many anime streaming sites in India.

Indian people often think that, firstly, anime is cartoon, secondly, anime is violent, thirdly, anime is inappropriate. This is because they think that anime is for children, but actually it's not. To be honest, some anime are child friendly and children can watch them, but anime is actually not for children, it's for teens, adolescents and adults. 

The main cause for the ban by Disney is that these sites illegally provided free anime with a lot of advertisements on the website which earns a lot of money for them. But, a lot of anime aren't available on sites like Crunchyroll or Netflix in India. Crunchyroll, although providing free streaming, has a very limited selection. The only way to do so is through a VPN, which is inconvenient since good VPNs require a subscription and the ones that are free don't work as good..

If Disney has put a ban on these websites, then it better bring an anime streaming source to India, else this is the only way to bring them back.
