Women with hijabs and/or Muslim and Islamic women need to be seen more on television! It is devastating to see children not knowing what a hijab is. Though I am a black girl, I still feel that it is my duty to make all women feel appreciated, no matter their race or religion. These women are powerful and need to me embraced for their culture and religion. The character does NOT have to be a princess and get married, but she should be the strong protagonist. Please sign! We need to raise race equality in movies, television, and all other forms of media!
