Star Wars has been a huge part of my life ever since I was young. Aside from the movies, the Star Wars Expanded Universe now known as legends was my favorite series of books to listen to and read. I spent many hours in the galaxy far, far away.

For those who do not know, the expanded Universe encompasses all the Star Wars series including the old republic era, prequels, the original Trilogy, and the post-original Trilogy. Some of my favorite stories were the Darth Bane trilogy written by Drew Karpyshyn which told the life story of the creater of the rule of two Darth Bane and The Force Unleashed series by Sean Williams. All these stories have expanded our understanding of the Star Wars Lore and have helped countless fans pass many enjoyable hours.

This petition asks two things of Disney. First, resume legends series that were cut off when they were decannonized. Let fans have their moments with their favorite characters. Let those who love that universe relive those good old days. This petition also asks that Disney/Lucas Film make unabridged audio books of the legends storys. Many of the older stories are abridged and fans would be able to get the most out of them. This would not be a problem for the company. These novels are already marked as legends. This is in no way meant to threaten or demean Disney/Lucas Film's cannon universe or those who like/love that cannon. This petition is purely designed to let the voices of all fans be heard and for Disney to take advantage of all sources of Star Wars. Please seriously consider Disney/Lucas film. It can only help you.
