According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, agricultural regions are crucial for achieving food security and sustainable agriculture, which are vital for a healthy and vibrant community.

Industrial development often brings with it pollution, traffic, and the degradation of natural resources. These new industries might not only pollute our air and water resources but also disrupt the wildlife habitats that coexist harmoniously with our farming activities. We propose that Government explores alternative locations that do not threaten agricultural lands and instead prioritise areas with lesser environmental and social conflicts.
