This is a heartfelt plea from a concerned member of the Floyd Central High School community. The performance of the school's basketball team under the coaching of Fonso White has been incredibly disappointing, resulting in a disheartening 2-8 record. As a supporter of our school and our sports, I believe our student-athletes deserve a chance to thrive, grow, and excel both in and out of the court. Unfortunately, under Coach White, our team's potential has been severely stifled. Basketball is more than a game; it instills teamwork, resilience, and discipline in young people. We fear that their experience under Coach White has been less than beneficial. Therefore, we ask the school administration to rethink the leadership of our basketball team. For the sake of our students and the school's reputation, please dismiss Coach Fonso White from his position. Your signature can provide our student-athletes with a better chance to flourish.
