On June 12, 2023, our family faced an unexpected and unimaginable tragedy with the ACCIDENTAL death of 2 year old Cyrilla.

This sweet little girl was loved more than you could imagine by everyone and anyone who knew her. She had a smile that would light up the room and dimples that would make anyone fall in love!

On August 7th her parents Emily Ferg 27 and Cody Deschler 30, were faced with yet another nightmare as they were trying to do their best to navigate this loss and are now each charged with class D felonies for Child Neglect resulting in death. 

Waupaca County DA Kat Turner has made a terrible mistake.  This was not child neglect, this was a horrible ACCIDENT!
