This petition is to bring to your notice the plight of NEET MDS aspirants who are facing tremendous pressure owing to lack of clarity in NEET MDS 2025 exam dates. National Board of Education In Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has come up with a notification on 27th November, 2024 stating that the given NEET MDS 2025 exam date i.e., 31st January, 2025 is ‘purely tentative’.

The uncertainty in the exam dates is affecting the morale of thousands of NEET MDS aspirants throughout the country. They are made to suffer for no fault of their own. This issue of uncertainty has been recurring for the last 3 years starting from 2022.

For instance, NBEMS initially scheduled NEET MDS 2022 on 04-06-2022 but after multiple reschedules, the exam was eventually conducted on 02-05-2022. Similarly, NEET MDS 2023 was scheduled on 08-01-2023 but got postponed to 01-03-2023. Even the recent NEET MDS 2024 was initially scheduled on 09-02-2024 and in a notification released on 30-01-2024 (just 10 days prior the tentative date), they announced 18-03-2024 as the final exam date. Just imagine the plight of the aspirants receiving such last minute updates regarding a national-level exam. 

Recently, NMC announced June 15, 2025 as the tentative exam dates of NEET PG 2025 i.e., almost 6 months prior. What about NEET MDS 2025? Why isn't DCI giving any clarity in this regard?

The following are the demands of NEET MDS aspirants: 

1. Clarity In Exam Dates:

* No words such as 'tentative' or 'purely tentative' in the official notification as they are creating an air of uncertainty.
* One official notification with the confirmed date is suffice.

2. Timing of Exam Calendar:

* Release the exam calendar at least 4-6 months before the final exam date. 
* Standardise dates of exams, counselling & admission procedures.

3. Release of Key:

* Release the key & give students an opportunity to challenge controversial questions thus making the examination system more transparent & accountable.

We request the concerned authorities like NBEMS, DCI, MoH&FW etc to look into this matter with great urgency & announce the confirmed exam date of NEET MDS 2025 immediately keeping the above-mentioned demands in mind.
