DISCRIMINATION AGAINST CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW

The Issue

A "child in conflict with the law" is anyone under the age of 18 who comes into contact with the court system as a result of being suspected or accused of committing an offense. Petty crimes or minor offenses like vagrancy, truancy, begging, or alcohol use have been committed by the majority of minors in trouble with the law.

In the present society, every individual, no matter their status, gender, or even age, will do anything or everything for what they want or desire. Discrimination against children in conflict with the law is the unjust or uneven treatment of children or people who have defied the law or rule at a very young age.

The campaign will focus on giving people insights or knowledge that not every child who committed a crime or disobeyed the law did it for their own benefit. According to research, these reported children did this disobedience of the law for a variety of reasons, namely: poverty, hunger, peer influence, and sometimes even their own parents made them do it.

This is an online campaign that focuses on the well-being of children in conflict with the law. Additionally, this campaign will be gathering funds for the purpose of spreading knowledge and insights about children in conflict with the law.

Since this is an online campaign, the gathering of support for this advocacy will be done through websites, or social media platforms like Change.org, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
