Add Stereo Audio to Discord

The Issue

As it is right now, Discord converts any stereo information into mono, which really just kills the audio quality.

Please add an option for users to route stereo audio through voice calls. Stereo audio allows for multiple channels of audio to be heard, allowing for greater depth and quality.

This would be an amazing addition with many potential uses for those who know how to use it. Instrumentalists would be able to host high quality virtual jam sessions, producers would be able to collaborate more easily, audiophiles would be able to flex their gearhead audio setups, and storytellers would be able to add an extra bit of depth to their stories.

Here's how I'd implement it:

- Add the ability to enable/disable stereo audio in voice channels. This would prevent trolls from being able to "loudmic" or be disruptive by panning left and right, especially if the channel is public.

- Create a new role permission that enables the role to use stereo audio. This ensures that those who can be trusted with stereo audio could use it.

- By default, have the individual user's stereo audio toggle be set to mono. Add a disclaimer under it, letting them know that if they have a multi-channel interface, they may be panned left or right depending on what drivers it uses once they enable it. (If necessary, I'm down to write a whole article that you guys could link to for setting up audio routing with an multi-channel interface or mixer.)

- Last of all, add an option to toggle another user's audio from mono or stereo + a built in limiter that you could individually set for different people. This would be amazing for making that annoying friend a lot less annoying.

Please consider adding this to your platform. It's already amazing as it is, but I and many others genuinely believe this would be a very appealing feature for all users alike, not just musicians and producers. As of right now, the only way of routing stereo audio is through using ToS breaking and potentially insecure clients such as Ripcord and Lightcord. I believe that adding this feature would really quell the amount of people switching to these alternative clients specifically for their audiophilic needs.

Please join me in the push for Discord stereo audio!
