In the discord server, SandRealLand, we had an election in order to elect the new mods. I decided to run for president because I believed I was fit for the role and could make the server a better place overall. After campaigning for a few days, having some debates, and getting to know the people of the server it was time for the final election. I won the election with 80% of the votes going for me. I felt on top on the world but soon that feeling was taken away when my presidency was striped from me. Although winning the votes, and debates the other candidate, Luke, was elected president. Everyone in the server was disappointed. He took the role I worked so hard for away from me, and is ruining the server. His server since becoming president has an average of 16 messaged per day, and it’s going down. Another server I am a mod in which has the same people has an average of 354 messages per day and counting. He doesn’t know how to run the server or entertain his people. Luke simply is not fit for the role of president for he is mad with power, he’s blinded by a “rank” which is merely a social construct. I truly care about the people and what they want, he couldn’t care less. In fact, he is so overcome and obsessed with power that he lies and pretends to be someone he’s not in order to seem better. For example, he told everyone that he was born in San Diego, but after getting on the phone with his mother and having a little chat it was proven that he in fact was not born in San Diego, but in Torrance.
