For as long as discord has been a platform they have had a Myriad of accessibility issues. Mainly with screen readers like Voice Over for Apple and Talk Back for Android. Back when Discord was a small company these issues were okay to overlook, but now Discord is an industry leader these problems can no longer be ignored! I proposing that Discord as a company has there employees use only screen readers in the app for 1 work day and they hire someone who either uses screen readers or knows how to make sure something is accessible for all. I feel like once they do this they will realize how many issues there app truly has. There app really is. From basic issues like not being able to reorder roles, channels, categories and more. To more noticeable ones like the senders name showing up after the message or voice over freezing and crashing the app when swiping over an embed with the keyboard showing. I think Discord needs to realize that people who use screen readers are users too and they need to stop acting like we don’t exist.
