Recently many discord accounts, including mine have been hacked and stolen. Some taking more than a month in some cases to be resolved. Discord is not taking any action in stopping these accounts from getting stolen as 2FA does not do anything in preventing your account from getting stolen with the email and password changed. Refunds for fraud purchaces not even getting a response, leaving you to have to go your bank and hoping they approve and believe you. Many people are having this issue and discord does not address it nor makes any improvements to its support team to handle the large amounts of requests. Many people including myself are tired of waiting and dealing with the same bot messege with no follow up response. First thing that needs to be done is improve 2FA to better protect the account by requiring it to be used when changing email/password or any other information on the account. Second is to create a seperate division in the support team that SOLEY deals with account recovery. Third is provide better quality support in a timely manner, a ticket should be at the very most solved within a week which should be the maximum. Discord has a total of 1200-1300 staff, that a which we do not know the allocation of these employees. 1200-1300 staff is not enough to handle over 200 million users. Many people are affected by discord's inaction to deal with problems that cost people money, time and mental strain. Discord needs to address these issues and make the following changes or I as well as many others will boycott discord.
