KnifeBot is a new currency-based discord bot, and is one of the fastest growing discord based communities in the world. With an active game developer, this bot was getting frequent updates, improving at an incredibly fast rate. As such, the community for this bot quickly grew, being invited to nearly 400 servers and having approximately 300 active players in its support server (KnifeTopia) alone. All of this occurred in an incredibly fast fashion, showing how the community has grown so fast despite only being online for three months so far, from the 25th of July 2020 to October 2020. However, discord would begin to get updates, which would altogether not work well with the current state of KnifeBot. As such, the bot began to break down, until finally reaching the point where the bot would not even work without having intents turned on. In order to fix this issue as fast as possible, the bot maker,  Deozi#0001, repeatedly attempted to contact the discord team, in order to fix this issue as fast as possible, allowing the bot to work as efficiently as possible, while also allowing for updates to continue to roll out. Unfortunately, Deozi was ignored for an entire one and a half weeks, before finally being contacted by a member of the discord team. Even then, the only thing that happened was that he was redirected to the discord development team. Fast-forward over three weeks, and the issue has still not been assessed, let alone resolved. That is where this campaign comes in. We are trying to get as many signatures on this petition as possible, in order for discord to finally realise how important this issue is.
