The Issue

The Flint website, frequently used in schools as a learning platform, presents a number of challenges and concerns that we believe merit the attention of educational administrators, teachers, and policymakers.

First and foremost, Flint often lacks reliable performance. Students and teachers alike experience frequent outages and glitches, which disrupt the learning process and lead to frustration. In an educational environment that increasingly relies on digital tools, consistent service and reliable technology are paramount.

Moreover, Flint's user interface is not intuitive, making it difficult for students to navigate and causing unnecessary confusion. Educational platforms should facilitate learning, not hinder it with complicated navigation or poorly laid-out resources.

Further concerns arise with Flint's data privacy policies and security measures. In an age where data breaches are common, we must ensure that the platforms we use protect sensitive information, such as students’ personal data, to the highest standards.

Our schools deserve better tools to provide a quality education. By considering alternative platforms that are user-friendly, reliable, and secure, and which enhance rather than impede the educational experience, we can ensure a better future for both our students and educators.

We call upon school boards and educational authorities to stop the use of Flint and explore more reliable and effective educational technologies. Let's work together to create a learning environment that supports our students' success. Please sign this petition to make a change for the better.
