Utilize part of the National Mall for citizen lobbying.

The Issue

The feeling of disenfranchisement has permeated all sections of the American political spectrum, and the electorate of this democracy demand an improved process through which to influence the course of our nation.

The undersigned request that a portion of the National Mall in Washington DC be designated as campgrounds by the US National Park Service for the express purpose of providing all American citizens a base from which to lobby our elected representatives and government officials for the period of one week per citizen.

This site will serve to maintain alignment between our elected and electorate, and amongst the monuments to the powerful few will stand a monument to the organized many.
