This petition is in representation for the many families that have children that attend Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently this school year of 2020-2021, school leadership has changed and has made many aspects of the Catholic school system unbearable to adhere to. Issues are not resolved, teachers are unable to communicate with parents due to email thread privacy, school policies and rules constantly changing, unprofessional demeanor towards our children and school staff, non-cohesive learning platforms that are different from teacher to teacher and class to class and the favoritism from a Las Vegas Catholic School official and OLLV leadership. Those of us with children enrolled at OLLV have emailed and expressed continuous concern to the Catholic School board, Catholic community and church officials. But nothing has changed and many of us are very unhappy. We believe that Principal Marisa Bello is not a good fit for OLLV and request her removal immediately. It has been brought to our attention that this is not the first instance that Ms. Bello has been removed from a previous position as principal.
