The Williams Village Community at the University of Colorado Boulder are petitioning for a wider variety of food options offered at the Village Center Dining Hall. In past years, the food options change on a daily basis, whereas we have been eating the same few meals for the past 3 weeks at the same price for a meal plan. If the food options were changed more frequently, the student morale would be raised, which is especially important during the pandemic we are enduring. Additionally, it is unhealthy to eat the same foods repeatedly with no alteration in your diet. Although there are other dining services on Main Campus, most of our classes are online, meaning we don't leave Williams Village on an average day, so making a special trip for food is difficult. We understand that the current conditions make it more challenging to add variety to the menu, but even changing the menu every other week would be a huge improvement.
