The organisation that controls 1080 in Australia, APVMA don't believe enough domestic pets are dieing from 1080 to take that aspect into consideration when deciding whether or not 1080 should be used in Australia. There is no antidote to 1080 and 100 milligrams will kill a human being. 1080 is being used in areas in close proximity to homes even though APVMA says it should not. Please, if you know anybody who has lost a pet to 1080 or have yourself, write to me at marilyn@oceanlegal.com.au so that your pet's story can be added to Rex's on a National Database, and APVMA and the Media will know the truth about how 1080 is impacting our environment, our pets and is a risk to public health and wellbeing. Our precious biodiversity is in crisis because of 1080. Tiger quoll is now an endangered species. This must stop, we are not the voiceless, we speak for the voiceless.
