Digital Dragon Dollars for WV

Digital Dragon Dollars for WV
The Issue
Dragon dollars should be digital, it would help the environment, the school's funds, and the staff.
It must also be tiring to have to copy and paste the amounts for every single student, and making dragon dollars digital would help that. We're assuming that the teachers already have a recording system to see how many dragon dollars each student has, and all they'd have to do is make it accessible to students to save a lot of trees. How about we do the math?
Every month, around 1,000 pieces of paper are used to distribute dragon dollars to the Welsh Valley students. The papers are large, but some only have $1.00 on them. All in all, that means that every month about 1/20 - 1/10 of a (fully grown) tree is being used. This may not sound like a lot, but if you add in the factor of about a thousand kids completing at least 3 worksheets every day, the entire equation changes.
Basically, our school’s students use about 540,000 pieces of paper a year. (That’s not including the pieces of paper the office, staff, and teachers print for their own purposes, or the thick packets that are printed in math and music classes.) That’s more than 27 - 54 trees per year! Think about how many students have gone to Welsh Valley. The numbers have altered, but that doesn’t change the fact that we’ve used thousands of trees over the years. Isn’t it right for us to give back now?
For those who argue that the papers give a sense of achievement, with some simple color or font change, this wouldn't matter, and as a bonus we get a sense of achievement for helping the environment.
Thanks for reading this large amount of text, I hope you consider signing.
