We have to make a class shirt for our graduation. The problem is, my friend Channdavel's shirt has been disqualified because he did it digitally, even though it is an amazing design. The teacher said that his digital design was not art, that it required no effort, and that it wasn't personal. He spent hours working on the design.

By getting signatures on this petition, Channdavel's shirt could have a chance at winning.

I'm starting this petition because digital art should be considered real art. Art is a form of expression. To say that someone's art isn't art or that they didn't put effort into something because of the media they chose to express themselves in is ridiculous.

Digital art is art because it is expressive. It requires just as must effort as traditional art. It is simply wrong to make students follow a rigid definition of art and to limit someone's form of expression.
