HELP save two ancient 200 year old oak trees in Didcot Oxfordshire
The Issue
2 ancient 200 year old oak trees that had TPOs (tree protection orders) in Didcot Oxfordshire are now to be cut down, because builder Persimmon Wessex built a house to close to the trees and the house is being damaged by the roots.
These trees are home to a huge variety of birds, the loss of these trees will devastate them.
The birds won't be able to find new homes as the trees are in the middle of a very large housing estate where most of the trees have already been cut down.
Without these trees many birds will die and worst still there will be nowhere to nest.
These trees are vital not only to the birds but in the fight against climate change.
We would like Persimmon & the insurance not to take the cheapest option of falling the trees but to get together and find another solution to this problem.
Save the trees for the rapidly declining birds & the future generation
