I want Ewoka to be the official word for obese ducks. We have gone millions of years without having a name for them and it should go on no longer. Obese ducks stand out from regular ducks for many reasons that I will cover in my next paragraph. Making Ewoka a word could also bring attention to the problem that obese ducks have. They can have serious issues and obesity can lead to them being killed. Ducks could have heart failure or be chased down and killed by another animal because they could not move fast enough. I will now provide information on why obese ducks stand out so much.

Obese ducks are different for many reasons. Obese ducks are to heavy and can not move around as quickly as other ducks can. And as I stated in my earlier paragraph that could lead to them being hunted down and killed. That leads me to my next point. Obesity in ducks could cause them to not be able to fly. And not being able to fly also stops them from getting away from predators. Every species of duck is able to fly except for 3 species that live in Argentina and Chile. As you can see obese ducks are extremely different and deserve there own word.

Obese ducks are forced to live different life styles because of being over fed by humans. And I think making a word for them will bring awareness and help fight against duck obesity and all animal obesity. We need to do this one animal at a time.
