With polling places shutting down across the country and hours long waits at the polls, it is clear that Dickinson must cancel all classes on Election Day, November 3rd. This will make it easier for all students to exercise one of our most important rights as citizens; the right to vote, and to do it easily. If Dickinson doesn’t cancel classes, they are complicating the efforts of students around the country to vote in the upcoming election. Because the reasons raised, we urge President Ensign to halt all classes on Election Day.
