'Hank the Tank' is being targeted for death by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW). Hank has acquired a taste for human food by no fault of his own and has broken into some homes to eat pizza and junk food.

The residents of South Lake Tahoe have pointed out that Hank is gentle and sweet. He is far more interested in food than any people who may be inside a home.

The problem is, Hank is destroying some property to get to the food he loves. The residents would prefer if Hank was relocated but not harmed.

There is no reason to euthanize Hank. Many rescues have offered to help Hank . The Bear League in Lake Tahoe is doing everything they can to help find Hank a home in a sanctuary. (https://www.facebook.com/SaveTahoeBears/about/?ref=page_internal
