The Issue

For many years, DeviantArt owner, Spyed has built an art platform in which many communities have come together. All walks of life have joined, including people who shouldn't be allowed on the internet. These people have, on a continued basis, broken not only site policies but local and even international laws in regards to Cyber Bullying. In the past, victims were allowed by the site, to make Bewares, to warn friends, followers and their community about their abusers antics, as long as proof was provided.

Recently however, DeviantArt and it's staff, have begun a systematic silencing of victims. Removal of Beware journals are being thrown under their site's "Sexually Explicit Content" when in fact, many of the screenshots provided as proof, don't even fall under this category as much of the screens talk about the abuse the victims are being forced to endure.

We the VICTIMS DEMAND that DeviantArt allow our voices be heard and allow us to keep our Bewares up as long as trigger warnings are listed at the starting of each journal.

By continually silencing us, DeviantArt is telling our abusers, that it's OKAY to bully us, abuse us, and that they'll continue to get away with it. It's NOT OKAY and it shouldn't be allowed on this platform!
