We, the people living in Thane- Bhiwandi stretch consisting of villages - Kasheli, Kalher, Purna, Rahanal, Anjur Phata and others upto Bhiwandi are facing regular traffic jams almost every day on Old Agra Road MH SH 35 due to life-threatening pot holes as well as loaded heavy vehicular traffic.

Traffic jams often last for hours due to heavy trucks going in out of narrow lanes to warehouses while there is insufficient road space for them to make a turn. This is compounded by deep and wide craters on roads , steep rise in floating/ migrant population in these areas over the last 5 years and insufficient traffic management.

In case of emergencies, neither ambulances not fire tenders can arrive here as traffic stands still for hours together.

We appeal to you for immediate measures towards road and traffic maintenance to help mitigate day to day travails of the people living here.
