Transportation has played most important role in human development. But in Vasai Virar the State transport (S.T.) which run bus services from railway station to Villages was lifeline for students, villagers, farmers, fisherman to City was halted by S.T. officer from 1st Jan 2017 saying "ST was in loss on these routes" while V.V.M.T. is not providing bus services on this route due to inadequate space for parking buses at Station.
        Commuters are also opposing the bus service provided by VVMT due to inadequate buses, ill maintained, small buses and operating time till 10:00 pm, while ST provides Bus Services in midnight since the most villagers are at service in Mumbai.
     The closed routes are

• Vasai depot:- Navghar-Bhuigaon, Navghar-Rangaon, Navghar-Vasai, Navghar-Gass, Bhuigaon-Koliwada, Bhuigaon-Papdi, Vasai-Umela.
• Nallasopara depot:- Bhuigaon (Gass route, Nirmal route), Kalamb-Rajodi, Nalla, Gass, Umrale, Nirmal, Vasai, Satpala-Rajodi, Nalla-Rajodi.

Now due to inadequate Transport facility the cost for transport from Villages to station which was earlier ₹ 15 max. by bus is now above ₹ 30 by rickshaw which is costly for middle class.

Sign my petition and ask Chief minister and transport Ministers to start ST bus service from Vasai,Nallasopara and Virar depot to Villages.
