Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA is hosting the annual Board of Directors meeting of Safari Club International in early May.

Safari Club International is a club for wealthy individuals who pay large sums of money to shoot animals for fun and entertainment. Their members compete for who can kill the biggest animal and greatest number of animals, including endangered species and collect their body parts as "trophies"--an activity also common amongst serial killers. The senseless murder of our planet's wildlife is an incredibly disturbing activity classified as zoosadism, which is pleasure derived from cruelty to animals and is part of the "Macdonald triad", a set of three behaviors that are a precursor to sociopathic behavior.

We call on the Hyatt Regency to cancel its contract with SCI and refuse to host their board of directors meeting. Should the meeting not be canceled, it will be met with protest and additional action highlighting Hyatt's sanctioning of the malicious and despicable activity known as trophy hunting.

Conservation is not killing. True conservationists donate their time and money to protecting our planet's most vulnerable species....not gunning them down and mounting their heads on living room walls.
