We, the undersigned residents of Waverley and concerned citizens, are deeply affected by the recent events in Israel. Our local Jewish community, along with many others, has felt the repercussions of this conflict, and during such times, we look to our elected representatives for understanding and support.

We call for Mayor Paula Masselos to sack Deputy Mayor Ludovico Fabiano.

Regrettably, the stance taken by Deputy Mayor Ludovico Fabiano of Waverley Council has caused significant distress and disappointment. Equivocating the actions of HAMAS with those of Israel, especially during such a sensitive time, is unacceptable and shows a lack of understanding and empathy towards his constituents.

We call for the following:

1. Immediate Resignation
2. Official Apology

The Waverley community deserves elected representatives who genuinely understand, empathise, and act in the best interests of their constituents.
