Alex Singleton started this petition to Deputy Lord Mayor of Oxford - Councillor Steve Goddard

The time is now to end LTN's in East Oxford. The residents have suffered enough.
The LTNS have not helped the population.
What I see is increased Traffic, Pollution and Chaos. Living in Littlemore has opened my eyes to how very little the council seems to care about its residents.

Littlemore still suffers from relative poverty, many stuck in cycles of poverty they cannot break. The area has limited access to surgeries, public amenities and all the other essential services that a small hamlet should have. YET! The bus services are slow, expensive and in strange locations(soon to be cut back). People need open roads to be able to get to shops and schools in their local area. The LTN's are creating misery in Littlemore and Temple Cowley.
The retired population and infirm and disabled are struggling much more under austerity, Covid and bad council decisions. Ambulance services have been stuck in traffic putting people's lives at risk in critical situations. Mobile carers for the elderly are struggling to get to their patients-cars being essential to be able to do home visits.  Deliveries to shops have been restricted and this has put great pressure on small businesses. Young families including myself need public access to local roads as I have to drive my own children to many activities/doctors appointments every day. I cannot rely on public transport or even a bicycle for many of the duties that I carry out on a daily basis.  I am amazed that I even have to state these obvious facts and that the local population seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

When are our representatives going to help us? Surely this is what council representatives are here for? This is online petition against the LTN's. Help me end this misery.
