When I see them off, I can't help but worry about their journey. Public areas, especially train stations, should be safe havens where we can go about our daily routines without fear. Unfortunately, that's not always the case.

In our community, there has been a noticeable rise in security concerns at train stations. Recent reports from the local news highlighted several incidents involving thefts, vandalism, and even personal assaults. This isn't just about statistics - it's about real people experiencing real fear in places they travel through every day.

Protective Services Officers (PSOs) have proven to be effective in maintaining safety and order at transport hubs.
