Why we should initiate on having an Academic Ease? 

Filipinos are crying for help due to the Ulysses and Super Typhoon Rolly which has affected thousands of lives in the Philippines.

There were places that was submerged under water like Cagayan and in region 2, a dam might open another gate ANYTIME which can possibly affect the higher villages that could end up submerged too.

The government is not even doing anything about the damages or to those who have grieved for loss meanwhile DepEd buckled down on "Bidding Ham & Cheese" worth of P4.2 M for christmas and Sec. Briones still fights for education while we fight for survival.

Not to mention, Sec. Briones said "Maghanap sila ng paraan, siguro ibibilad nila, 'yung iba pinaplantsa. Hindi na sila uutusan ng circular galing sa central office para sabihan kung ano ang gagawin."

For God's sake, we're in the amidst of a disaster and we are STUDENTS not SUPERHEROES. Don't expect us to risk our lives just for these modules.

In my perspective I do think that Academic Ease should be considered despite of the crisis that many Filipinos are facing right now. Education is indeed important but I'm sure it can wait. Let's prioritize our safety first. We are also humans not a boat that could just float anytime during a flood and when death awaits us around the corner, education cannot simply replace a life that has been taken.

As a filipino, we have the right to be heard and we will not stay silent as if nothing happened neither will you.
