Since many years , the Government of Karnataka, has identified VET grounds for sports activities and physical education , a system that helps young and budding to excel in the field of sports, such as foot ball, throw ball, volleyball, cricket,etc.,and physical training such as walking, running , yoga, etc., ladies also take active part in all the sports activities and yoga. This ground is helping many residents of JP Nagar , Jayanagar and surrounding areas to practice regularly and religiously.
It has come to notice of many people that the VET ground is allotted for commercial activities from next week or near future, which may hamper all the sports activities in the VET ground. It is also a place where mentally challenged kids are being trained

There must be sensibility to the issue that such commercialisation will be carried out on sports ground .Therefore the necessary safeguards must be in place, through appropriate areas earmarked separately for commercial activities, and proper legislation, to ensure that this concept does not turn out to be a total NO SPORTs activities only commercial activities in the future months to come.
