Put an END to Social Inequality

Put an END to Social Inequality
The Issue
Social Inequality is the uneven distribution of resources given to people in a society. It is the partiality of access of social goods in the society brought about by power, religion, kinship, prestige, race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, and class. Acts of social inequality include access to freedom of speech and assembly, the extent of property rights, quality housing, health care, voting rights and other social goods and services.
Living in an unequal society where people with power and wealth are the ones who always gain more resources causes higher rates of health and social problems, and a poor economic growth. Social inequality is one of the obstacles that obstructs the decrease of poverty in most countries.
Unequal power is found to lead to the formation of institutions that perpetuate inequalities in power, status, and wealth, which typically are also bad for the investment, innovation, and risk-taking that underpin long-term growth (World Bank, 2006).
Help STOP SOCIAL INEQUALITY now.
