Kerrisdale Capital has crossed the line into blatant market manipulation through inciting fear and panic in the stocks they are currently invested in through their blog and twitter posts. Through this fear and panic make a profit on their current positions.

On October 3rd, 2021 Kerrisdale Capital announced their position in Camber Energy Resources Inc, within the article, twitter, and blog posts went so far to state that CEI would be delisted within the next month due to not keeping up with their financial filings. Due to this the stock lost 50% of its value making investors lose an incomprehensible amount of money. Kerrisdale later made a separate post stating that their information was incorrect.  

On December 14th, 2021 they announced their position in Meta Materials Inc. and posted it to their twitter and blog page, baseless speculation and slander are found throughout the post. Presenting this to a mass audience to further effect their position in the stock to their favor. Due to this the stock has seen approximately a 10% drop in price as the time of this report leading losses for investors but gains for Kerrisdale.

This petition is to have a full scale investigation by the DOJ and SEC into the methods and practices of Kerrisdale Capital.
