Bigo unfairly bans hosts in the United States, making the page unable to access. When the page is banned, the hosts can not collect the money on their pages to care for them and their families. The funds do not belong to Bigo; they are from supporters of the hosts who have sometimes given from their resources to help a host that has needs and require employment. I believe Bigo should not have the authority to do this because the money was given to support the host from supporters. Bigo is already taking an unfair amount of money from the supporters gifting to the host. For example, to gift a host a Super Dragon, it cost at least $200 for the supporter; the host will receive beans instead of real dollar amounts. A host receives 9,999 beans for a Super Dragon, the equivalent to about $60 - $80. Bigo keeps the majority of the gift monetary value. Some of these hosts see Bigo as a lifeline to take care of their needs. These hosts do numerous things to keep their audiences entertained, which can sometimes cause negative implications and the reason they may receive a ban, like a curse, threat, and nudity. I see this as Bigo silently exploiting these hosts then banning them, furthering the exploitation value. These hosts are also assigned to an agency, who sometimes can help the hosts get their pages unbanned. The process seems unfair at times, as I will highlight a case for this petition. There is an agency on Bigo named Keyzz to the Streets, this agent, Brandon Keyzz is responsible for over 300 hosts. Unfortunately, he doesn't do a good job of supporting each host fairly. There are several hosts in his agency who have banned pages. He has only successfully unbanned a few. Supporters speculate he is showing favoritism because the more the host makes, the more he is compensated. This petition would like to see every host on the app receive their pay that their supporters sent out of their hard-earned resources. To Bigo, to Keyzz Agency, to all agencies, take care of your hosts, and demand Bigo pay the money on the banned pages. To the Bigo Corporation continuing these unfair practices will cause scrutiny to your company. You have hosts earning over $20,000.00 a month not being subject to American tax laws because you disguise the currency from dollars to beans. You also do not have any verification on who these hosts are. Therefore you can not provide the IRS tax liability information. I know there are those who will say this will hurt some people. Fair is fair in all aspects. This will hopefully help the company turn around its unfair policies and bring accountability to the company. Those who feel like they do not want any tax liability, look at it this way, you are earning money that is not being added to your social security records, that will one day help you in retirement. Pay some taxes now benefit better later. Also, there are those on the app who are receiving federal housing subsidies and government assistance. These individuals are double-dipping and that is unfair to those who pay taxes freely on real jobs that collect data and abide by United State laws. Please support this petition to better Bigo and better the use of these apps.
