I believe reintroducing the dog licencing laws with both prevent dogs from ending up in awful conditions, such as neglect,abandonment and violence. I believe the British government has the need to make sure that people who purchase and rehome dogs live to a certain standard. A clean home, with a fenced garden, that all dogs must be leached and muzzled if the pose a slight danger to people or other dogs and by danger I mean the animal has social issues also that the owners have had successful experience with raising dogs. I don't believe anyone should be allowed animals. You hear horror stories of animal neglect,abuse and torture. I believe everyone brat owns a dog or cat should be on a register and if you in fact are convicted or abandon your animal then you should be struck of the list. A 5 year ban for starving,burning,beating and drugging a dog is not good enough it should be a life time ban. I believe housed should be inspected before during and after you buy an animal. And proper training should be implied for both inexperienced owners and animals. For the animals safty,for other pets and for your children. If you have been convicted of a serious crime I believe you should be banned. If you have chosen to neglect animals you are band. It may seem extreme but there would be alot lesa abandoned strayed dogs and cats in shelters and in the street if people with pets where regulated. Let's get this to parliament. RIGHT FOR ANIMALS a safer place for us all to live
