Our precious children have braved this with humility. The best years of their lives lived behind screens and under lockdown. Help their future. Be kind. Give them a break!

I can't imagine being 15/16 under these restrictions. My son has had a positive test, is in his 4th lockdown of 2020 & is still revising! Give him & his peers a chance.

I have taught for 15 years, Primary, Secondary, PRU's. Children are so precious. Why wouldn't we give them a helping hand? Be kind too...one never knows who will be caring for us one day �

Three weeks cannot bridge the gap. I mark GCSE exams every year and I know the work that is undertaken by dedicated teachers and their charges.

Give the young people a chance. Give them teacher assessed grades, seen materials and multiple choice. MOST importantly, give them clarity and certainty NOW. The "not knowing" is the worst for them.
