There are students who are in favor of the proposal in which their desire is to spend more time with their families. On the other side, there are those who recognize the importance of giving assignments and its being a way for them to learn things on their own first.

 In the long run, students will be lacked in learnings and as a result of no homework policy Filipino students will not be prepared in the lesson that they will tackle. Education without homework will be useless, sometimes we need to be learners of ourselves because it is a way better of understanding the lesson clearly. If "No homework policy" will be approved by the government students and teachers are having a hard time to adjust especially if they need to rush the lesson if it's near examination. And because of the no homework policy, teachers can still teach at a longer time.

in conclusion, this petition says that we're not in favor of the 'no homework policy' if the secretary of DepEd wants it for the reason of spending more time of students with their families during weekends instead of doing their assignments, may we suggest that, in this case we should allow to make assignments but not too much so that students have enough time with their family.
