The Issue

Our sister was raped and murdered at the age of 15, by a GROWN MAN WITH PRIOR OFFENSES OF RAPE. 7 other females reported actions of rape one stating strangulation. He has shown no remorse for his actions! Still to this day even with all the DNA evidence against him he continues to deny any part in the devastating loss of our oldest sister/ role model/ daughter/ step- daughter / friend. He has no place in our community. He is a REPEAT OFFENDER. His release would be a threat to our communities! Please help us in keeping this man behind bars!

Our community is at a critical juncture where we must make a stand to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our families, friends, and neighbors. This petition seeks to prevent the release of Michael Brock, an individual whose prior actions have caused significant harm and distress in our community. The Parole Board, tasked with deciding whether inmates are ready for reintegration, must recognize the impact of their decisions on community safety.

Michael Brock's previous offenses were serious and marked by a concerning pattern of behavior that poses a continued risk. He was convicted of crimes that not only violated the law but also betrayed the trust and peace in our neighborhood. The consequences of his actions are still felt today, and the potential threat of his release is a distressing prospect for many of us who strive to live in a secure environment.

Statistical reports indicate that many offenders released on parole commit new offenses, and allowing Michael to rejoin society presents a real risk of recidivism, as well as the potential for escalating violence. Ensuring public safety must be the primary consideration of the Parole Board, and the decision to deny parole in cases with clear precedent of danger is crucial in fulfilling that responsibility.

In addition to the risk he poses, it is important to consider the voices of the victims and their families. Many have expressed their fear and anxiety over the possibility of Michael's release. Their stories reflect a shared trauma experienced across our community and provide a compelling argument for denying his parole.

We are not alone in our call to action. Many community members, local organizations, and advocacy groups join us in demanding a thorough review of Michael Brock's case with the aim to protect all of us from potential harm. Let us unite in urging the Parole Board to make a decision that prioritizes safety and justice over expedited reintegration.

By signing this petition, you are helping us make a stand for a safer community. We ask the Parole Board to carefully weigh the evidence, listen to the voices of concerned citizens, and ultimately deny the release of Michael Brock. Every signature sends a powerful message that our community stands strong in support of justice and safety. Please sign the petition today.
