The Issue

We, the undersigned residents of the City of Abbotsford, urge our public officials to deny Sean Feucht's permit application to perform at Mill Lake on August 24th, 2025.

Why This Matters

This event is not merely a concert, and Sean Feucht is not just a musician. He is a known far-right political and religious activist who:

• Publicly supports MAGA, the far-right ideology of President Donald Trump
• Has opposed abortion rights, going so far as to call those who support reproductive rights "demonic"
• Has opposed and spread hateful rhetoric about the LGBTQ+ community, describing them as "demonic, sick and twisted"
• Supports and promotes Christian Nationalism, stating that he wants Christians to be the only ones in government
• During the COVID-19 pandemic, hosted worship events in protest of COVID-19 safety precautions

Approving his event permit would allow him to spread his harmful rhetoric, and would be a threat to those targeted by his ideology who deserve to feel safe in our city's public spaces. If his event permit is approved, this will send a clear message to residents that the City of Abbotsford is okay with a far-right politician using his platform and religious beliefs to spread hate and vilify marginalized groups.

What We Are Asking

We call on the City of Abbotsford to deny Sean Feucht's special event permit application and take a clear stand on its commitment to keep our public spaces safe and inclusive.
