Deny Bail for Michael Joubert, Accused Murderer of Leentjie Adams

Deny Bail for Michael Joubert, Accused Murderer of Leentjie Adams
The Issue
This is a plea from the heartbroken community of Piketberg/ Piket-Bo-Berg (The Mountain). We are crying out for justice for our beloved Aunty Sus (Leentjie Adams), who was brutally murdered on her way home from another farm. The accused, Michael Joubert, had initially appeared to be a caring individual when he offered to carry her groceries home. However, this act of kindness took a horrific turn when he allegedly killed her and dumped her body in the wilderness.
Michael Joubert is currently applying for bail while standing on murder charges. We find it unthinkable that someone accused of such a monstrous crime could potentially walk free until trial. It's an affront to our sense of justice and an unbearable burden on Aunty Sus's grieving family and friends.
We demand that the court deny bail to Michael Joubert. Our community deserves safety; we deserve peace; above all else, Leentjie Adams deserves justice.
Please sign this petition to ensure that Michael Joubert remains in custody until his trial concludes and let us send a clear message: we will not tolerate violence against our loved ones.
