*on behalf of killers tacos and other music venues that are potentially facing future restrictions regarding sound ordinance*

Currently there is a City sound ordinance in effect for Denton texas that does not allow sound over 60 decibels,  that means people can be written citations for breaking that sound ordinance ANY TIME OF THE DAY, we would like to change that so that the sound ordinance does not go in effect until 10:00 p.m.

With this change to the sound ordinance, we can ensure that music venues including house venues, bars, restaurants and outdoor venues like parks are able to remain fully operational during hours of business.

Killers Tacos is not the only venue at risk though. Many of our favorite places such as Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios, LSA Burger, Harvest House, Howling Mutt, Riprock's, Lucky Lou's, and any other outdoor music venues in Denton texas already have and may face future consequences if we don't change the noise ordinance!

The live music scene here in Denton Texas is very important to us and we want to preserve it, if you support the local music scene and would like to help, please sign this petition! There are local music venues at risk of losing their ability to have live music outdoors!

We have already watched a few of our favorite venues in town get shut down because of reasons like this! It's time to stand up and make a difference, it's time to speak up alongside our fellow showgoers and bar patrons!
