Stop Showing Cruel Fur in the Pro-Football Hall of Fame Fashion Show

The Issue

Foxes, Rabbits, Raccoons, Minks, Dogs, and Exotic Cats are used just for their fur, and are raised in inhumane conditions, like dogs in puppy mills, overcrowded, tiny, filthy cages, and anally electrocuted-fried from the inside-out, and skinned alive. These helpless animals have been filmed still blinking and moving while their skin is slowly peeled away. Animal fur in the fashion industry is no longer needed, as humane fake-fur alternatives are available, like pleather. Wearing fur as a fashion accessory or coat is supporting the cruel, abusive fur industry and their retailers who support a culture of violence, torture and abuse of animals used just for their fur. Please let the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce know that you do not support the abuse and death of animals used just for their fur, and that fur should no longer be exhibited in the Pro-Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Fashion Show.  The annual ''fashion'' show is Friday, August 7, 2015, at the Canton Memorial Civic Center, 1101 Market Ave., North, in Canton, OH, at 11:30 a.m.  We will have a peaceful protest on the corner of 12th and Market Ave. North from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., so join us.  You can enjoy a fashion show without exhibiting the skins of dead animals used just for their fur, or supporting retailers that profit off the deaths of abused and tortured animals who die just for their ''pretty'' fur.
