Every day families, children, seniors, and citizens of Redlands use the fantastic civic resources of A.K. Smiley Public Library, the Redlands Bowl, the Contemporary Club, and Joslyn Senior Center located at Eureka and Vine Streets. Unfortunately those crossing Eureka St. have to do so without the safety provided by a public crosswalk and under conditions not auspicious for either motorists or pedestrians. The 2018 Pedestrian Plan at Grant and Eureka Streets was rejected by the citizens who attended the public hearing sessions, but there is still a need for the City to protect its citizens and to raise the efficiency of its streets for drivers. Sign this petition to show city officials there is a demand for a safe crossing on Eureka St.
