Democracy, as we know it, is deeply personal to me. During my years of service, I have had the privilege to work with countless senior leaders in the national security arena, the military, the diplomatic corps, and corporate America. These experiences have given me insights into leadership, judgment and integrity required to lead. Upon close observation of the 2024 election, serious questions about the leadership qualities and decisions of DNC top leaders have arisen. It's baffling how a candidate like President-elect Trump, who, according to public records is a convicted felon, $2 billion in debt, came out victorious. His rhetoric, filled with plans that border constitutional suspension and promises of potentially chaotic policies left many citizens, including myself, deeply concerned. This election should have been a clear opportunity for Democrats to assert themselves, yet the DNC leaders' failure is evident. The DNC leadership has arguably lost the confidence of Democrats and patriotic citizens across the nation. This is not the kind of leadership the Democratic party needs. For the sake of our democracy and the future of the Democratic Party, I am urging you to join this petition. Let's call upon the top leaders of the Democratic National Committee to resign. Jaime Harrison, Gretchen Whitmer, Tammy Duckworth, Henry R. Muñoz III, Ken Martin, Keisha Lance Bottoms, and Jason Rae should do the only honorable thing and admit their failures. A revitalized party needs new, transparent, inclusive, and forward-thinking leadership that is closely aligned with the priorities of the people and is open to all.
